The HDMI audio driver is found within the Intel graphics driver. Download and install the W10 Intel graphics driver from your notebook's support page. If it doesn't install the HDMI audio driver, go to the device manager, click on the problem HD audio device needing the driver. Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver.
I noticed that Windows 10 does not yet support digital audio via HDMI out. Is there a patch of a fix for this available now or will the next version of 10 support digital audio? Or is there a previous Desktop did an in-place upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and since then, the HDMI output seems to be very intermittent.
